Meet Melissa
Hi, I'm Melissa! I am the person you call when the numbers and back office need to get under control.
I've spent years working behind the scenes of businesses across construction, retail, service industries, and nonprofits - managing everything from bookkeeping and financial reporting to payroll, AR/AP, collections, and day-to-day operations.
That experience taught me something pretty quickly: messy books are rarely just a bookkeeping problem. The systems, processes, and financial side of a business all work together. My job is to help make sure they actually work together well.
I believe in practical solutions, clear communication, and long-term partnerships. I'm not here to hand you another complicated system to manage - I'm here to make running your business easier and give you better visibility into what's actually happening behind the numbers.
Outside of work, I'm usually spending time with my son, volunteering with nonprofit organizations, attending concerts, cheering on my favorite sports teams, or hanging out with Blaze, my French Bulldog, and Walnut, my rescue cat.

My experience spans construction, retail, service-based businesses, and nonprofits, but the best fit is typically an organization that needs more structure, better financial visibility, and hands-on support behind the scenes.

What bookkeeping and accounting software do you support
I primarily work with QuickBooks Online and Sage products, including Sage 50, Sage 100, and Sage Intacct. I also have experience working across payroll, payment, reporting, and other business systems that connect to your financial operations.

Do you offer bookkeeping cleanup services?
Yes. If your books are behind, inaccurate, or simply need some attention, I offer cleanup support to help get things back in order.
Depending on what your books need, this may include reviewing historical transactions, reconciling accounts, correcting balances, researching discrepancies, and organizing your financial records so you have a more accurate starting point moving forward.
